INTRODUCTION
My daddy prepare this recipe to me, this is so wonderful and this is also tasty. I like this because the taste of this recipe is very great . You will love this recipe, this is so great and this tasty. This bars is the favorites of my friends and my siblings this is to yummy. I will make this again and again. I love this so much
Ingredients
1 x 500 g packet ready-rolled shortcrust pastry, thawed
1 x 400 g jar jam or fruit preserve of your choice
Method
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Cut sheets of shortcrust pastry into half lengthwise and place onto baking trays lined with silicon baking paper.
Place spoonfuls of jam at regular intervals about 1 cm from upper edge of pastry.
Run a wet finger around the jam, then carefully fold pastry over to make an envelope.
Press down onto the wet pastry and cut into bars using a blunt knife.
Bake for about 12 minutes or until bars are lightly browned.
Cool on racks and store in an airtight container.
